PVC Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) is the 3rd most manufactured plastic. Most of the world's PVC is made from a Petrochemical product known as Ethylene. The widespread use of plastic is more durable, stronger resistant to chemicals, and their anti-flame properties. Plastic takes several hundred years to decay. As a result, there's a lot of controversy about using plastics as it is thought to be harmful to the world environment. But the reality is that the world is not able to function without it.

In recent times, plastic has been discovered in new areas of application, and the unseen enemy has transformed into an adorable companion. Plastic has gained greater importance in protecting the environment and ensuring cleaner and safer working areas. It's pretty surprising, isn't it?. Plastic(PVC), the end product, is typically rigid and strict. However, the physical characteristics of PVC can be modified through the use of plasticizes to improve the elasticity of the material and stabilizers that shield them from UV radiation, flame retardants, and impact modifiers to increase long-lasting durability.

The plastic that has been modified is now given the form of a new name and has been known as PVC Strip Curtains. in which plastic is formed into thin, roll able sheets and strips, which are employed in areas where cleaner and safer, more hygienic and well-organized workspace are required. Strip Curtains, also known as "strip doors," are constructed from flexible, transparent, and thin sheets of PVC placed on the open doors, which facilitates the flow of vehicles and pedestrians. It simultaneously serves as a barrier to protect the area from temperature fluctuations and pollutants, and insects. They also help reduce any "wind tunnel" effect caused by the opening and closing of doors.

Types of PVC Strip Curtains.

Clear / Transparent PVC Strip Curtains:

These curtains provide high visibility, often required in places like unloading and loading areas in warehouses.

Anti Static PVC Strip Curtain:

They protect delicate electronic components from Electra Static Discharge caused by the fast transfer of electrostatic charge across two items. Anti-static curtains function as conductors, which prevent severe damage to integrated circuits and semiconductors.

Insect - Amber PVC Strip Curtains

This kind of curtain cuts off the light and blocks insects, usually attracted by light sources. Food processing industries employ these curtain panels to keep insects from getting into the food processing or storage facility.

Cold Storage Curtains

Also known as Polar grade curtains, they are designed to stand up to low-temperature conditions in cold rooms and freezers. They shield against loss of temperature and thus increase energy efficiency, which is not usually the case with conventional doors. There can be a loss of temperature when closing and opening the doors.

Ribbed PVC Strip Curtains.

They are constructed with raised ribs in the PVC Strip Roll. This ensures they are durable and lasts longer, enduring heavy impacts in areas where heavy machines such as forklifts, trucks, and forklifts traverse.
